Heaven's Gate pass sits at roughly 1,000 m, about 44 km from Ha Giang city. From here you look down on the Quan Ba valley with the Co Tien twin mountains in the distance; early mornings are often filled with cloud.
💡 Tips
Morning cloud is beautiful, but roads are slippery and visibility drops – ride slowly, use your lights and stop only on wide, safe spots.
