HaGiangStay (hagiangstay.com) is a travel guide and business directory for the Ha Giang region. We collect only the minimum data needed for the site to work, and we never sell data to anyone.
1. Data we collect
When you browse: we count page views and taps on each listing's Call / Zalo / WhatsApp buttons (not linked to your identity) for statistics and owner reports. We use privacy-friendly anonymous analytics and no advertising cookies.
When you write a review: the display name and text you enter. Reviews are moderated before they appear.
When you are a business owner submitting our registration / update form: your name, phone, Zalo, email (optional) and the business details you provide.
When you ask HaGiangStay to book or contact a business for you: whatever you send us by Zalo, WhatsApp or phone.
2. Your location
“How far is it from you?”, “Nearest to you” (SOS page) and the map's locate button only use your location after you allow it in your browser.
Distances are calculated on your own device and your location is stored there for at most 30 minutes; it is never sent to our servers. When you tap “Share my location”, you choose the recipient yourself.
3. How we use data
To show the guide, directory and reviews; to contact business owners to verify and publish listings and handle paid plans; to produce view statistics for owners; and to prevent spam and abuse.
We do not use your data for advertising and we never sell or rent personal data.
4. Third-party services
The site runs on Vercel (hosting, anonymous analytics), Supabase (database) and Cloudinary (image storage). Maps use OpenStreetMap data via OpenFreeMap; directions open Google Maps. Plans are paid by bank transfer via VietQR – we never receive or store card details.
When you continue to Zalo, WhatsApp, Google Maps, Facebook and similar services, their own policies apply.
5. Retention and your rights
Business listings are kept until the owner asks for removal. Reviews are kept until the author asks for deletion or they break our rules.
You may ask to access, correct or delete your data at any time by contacting HaGiangStay using the details below. We reply within 7 working days.
6. Contact
For any question about data and privacy, please contact HaGiangStay by phone / Zalo at the bottom of this page.
